This Privacy Notice explains what information Wedding Speech Generator ("the Service") collects, why, and what choices you have. The Service is operated by INSIGHTLAYER (Pty) Ltd (company registration number 2026/145121/07), a company registered in South Africa, which is the data controller for the information described here. We aim to collect only what is needed to write your speech and deliver it to you.
1. Information we collect
Speech inputs. The details you enter in the guided interview — your role at the wedding, the couple, your relationship, the stories and tone you describe, and any boundaries you set.
Generated content. The preview and full speech created from your inputs, along with any edits and comments you make.
Contact details. The email address you provide when unlocking your speech, so we can send you a copy.
Payment information. When you pay, our third-party payment provider processes your card details. We receive confirmation of payment and a reference, but not your full card number.
Technical data. Basic technical information such as approximate region, device, and usage events, used to operate and improve the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To run the guided interview and generate your speech.
- To store your draft so you can edit, regenerate, and export it.
- To process your payment and send your speech to your email.
- To provide support and handle refund requests.
- To monitor, secure, and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your speech inputs to train public AI models.
3. AI processing
To generate your speech, your inputs are sent to a third-party AI provider that runs the language model. The provider processes this data to return the generated text. Your inputs are not used to advertise to you.
4. Retention
Your inputs and speech are stored so you can return to edit and re-export them. Drafts that are never paid for are kept only for a limited period and then deleted. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact).
5. Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service — the AI provider, the payment provider, email delivery, and hosting. They process data on our behalf and only as needed. We may also disclose information where required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to it.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
